While assembling the SIP PORDOI Custom GTS, they could not get used to the idea of the original hardcover being part of it. The bulbous, obtrusive look of the plastic necktie did not suit the envisaged concept. To solve this issue, they decided to design and produce their own SIP PORDOI version of the Vespa GTS/GTV/GT/GTL horn cover to complement the appearance of the PORDOI scooter ideally. Alongside its flat design, they have also remodeled the lower opening and omitted the chrome trim found entirely on the original design. The most apparent difference between the two is the inclusion of the hexagonal logo badge. The giant oblong-shaped PIAGGIO logo badge did not suit the scooter, much less the new, sleek look of the PORDOI horn cover. This inspired them to make use of the old-school PIAGGIO firm logo.
