This voltmeter was made for the Piaggio Zip and is one of the first that is not universal but completely aimed at the Piaggio Zip. It is made of multiple parts and small screws, giving it a luxurious and robust appearance. Together with the thick lens that is secured with the eight screws, this looks interesting. The display is also available in white so that it will always match any scooter. It is coated with a scratch-resistant resin coating, so it will not fade. The cables are also waterproofed inside so there can be no problems with having the voltmeter in the rain.
“Installation”
The voltmeter is supplied with 2 self-stripping cable connectors. This means you do not have to cut the wiring harness, and no special tools or knowledge are required.
The negative (black wire) of the voltmeter must be connected to the black wire at the back of the ignition switch. The plus (red wire) of the voltmeter must be connected to the white wire from the ignition switch. This is the switched plus of the scooter. The voltmeter will turn on when you turn the key in your ignition.
