In an elaborate process, the developers at COPPER MONKEY determined the airflow of the standard flywheel and found that the cooling performance still has potential for improvement. After various tests with revised flywheels, the flywheel with the ideal cooling performance was finally determined. The flywheel is particularly suitable for vehicles that are mainly on the road in regions with hot climates. 

In order to avoid possible damage to the crankshaft and to reduce engine vibrations, the flywheel is finely balanced before delivery. Especially in high-speed ranges, a clean runout of the flywheel is important and is guaranteed here by COPPER MONKEY.

All in all, the elaborate development process, the painstaking balancing of the individual flywheels, and the nylon material used to ensure a long service life for the flywheel and, above all, the engine.
