Complete BGM PRO Variator with extended gear ratio range, perfect pull-through and high rear wheel power. After many tests, the BGM R&D team has found the perfect symbiosis of high starting power, linear power delivery and high top speed.

The original power train of the 125/150cc Piaggio H.E. engines is throttled at the factory to meet the legal limits for exhaust and noise.

The BGM Vario removes this throttle and ensures that the engine can deliver its full power to the rear wheel. In addition, the usable speed range is widened and the engine has its full power even earlier.
On the road, the vehicle is therefore much more agile, has a better track and is far superior to a standard scooter, especially when it comes to pulling through. The extension of the transmission ratio is gentle on the engine. The engine remains at the same speed level almost up to the top speed and does not start to rev up from 70 km/h onwards.

NOTE A harder back pressure spring is not necessary and would only reduce the power on a standard engine due to higher friction of the V-belt.
