Our tyres are professionally fitted to our rims by a professional, who of course ensures that the tyres run in the correct direction and that the required valves have been fitted beforehand. The wheels are then balanced. Only the correct tyre pressure has to be checked before setting off.
The rim
The SIP PORDOI rims for Modern Vespa models come in the usual high quality, with both workmanship and fitting accuracy. Product with perfect surface finish, modern 10 spoke look, surface CNC machined and cast-in SIP logo. They are manufactured in accordance with the ETRTO (European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation) guidelines, the industry specification for rim and tyre production, and have the KBA type mark. They are therefore legal for use on German roads.
The tyre
With a speed index and approval for up to 180 km/h, the SIP PERFORMANCE tyre allows considerably more than a Vespa GTS can drive. Still, it's good to know that at least with the tyre you don't have to worry any more. The sporty tread in combination with the rubber compound make this tyre the ideal companion, not only on dry roads, but also on wet roads. Except for driving in mud and snow, nothing will upset the balance of this tyre. Perfectly suited for all drivers who are mainly on the road in spring, summer and autumn and who are looking for a trustworthy tyre for little money.
Mounting instructions for Vespa GTS models with ABS:
For models that are equipped with ABS on the rear wheel as standard, a mounting kit including new wheel bolts and screws for the tone wheel is required. Please order this at the same time.
