Checker Floor Plates for the Vespa GTS are a stylish protection for the Footboards and at the same time a visual enhancement of the footwell.

Checker Floor Plates from SIP Scootershop are a style perennial favorite from the 80s and 90s that are now also available for the Vespas of the GT series. Who didn't have them on their PX back then? The Plates for the Vespa GTS are already pre-bent and only need to be glued to the Footboards using three adhesive strips (on each side). The 3M adhesive strips supplied provide a secure bond to the baseboards. Before gluing, it is strongly recommended that the Footboards are thoroughly cleaned, including the spaces in between. No tools are required for installation. This step-through set is available in silver or black anodized aluminium.

The ribbed surface of the footboards provides significantly more grip when getting on and off the bike - especially in the rain or with wet shoes. The slightly Elevation edges provide additional grip and reduce the risk of slipping in everyday life or on longer tours. The feeling of safety on the scooter is noticeably increased, especially during sporty riding or stop-and-go in the city.

Constant mounting and dismounting often results in scratches, abrasion or pressure marks on the Footboards - especially on GTS models with painted or sensitive surfaces. The Checker Floor Plates completely cover this area and protect the Paint from mechanical wear. Even stone chips or accidental parking with rough footwear no longer leave any marks.

The Checker Floor Plate is reminiscent of the sporty, robust custom conversions of the 1980s and 90s. Especially in combination with black or chrome-plated details on the GTS, a classic look is created that is reminiscent of tuning scooters and street racers from back then. Depending on the version - whether black or silver anodized - the design can be perfectly matched to your own style.

When mounting, make sure that the surface is absolutely clean and free of grease. We recommend cleaning the Footboards thoroughly with Brake Cleaner.
